The Concept
Is it possible to enjoy a painting and be touched by the image as you envision it, even if your conscious that it's part of a larger image.
A different way to experience art. Physically, intellectually and emotionally.
Is het mogelijk om te genieten van een schilderij en geraakt te zijn door het beeld zoals je het voor je ziet, in de wetenschap dat het deel uitmaakt van een groter beeld.
Een andere manier om kunst te ervaren. Fysiek, intellectueel en emotioneel.

300 Unique paintings expressing detail of ruins, each vibrating their own autonomic story.
Together they depict a totally destroyed city of Homs, serving as a foundation for a conceptual art project.
The artwork is titled ‘Candy Colors over Destruction’, a tribute to the many children that died and fled.
The 300 works are distributed by issuance to 300 art lovers at various places and times, as an artistic approach of the refugee path, which is determined by the capriciousness of fate.
Does this lead to some sense of collectivity and joint responsibility, with its own dynamic?
Will this artwork ever be reunited?
Exchange of e-mail addresses and a short conversation is an essential part of this artistic experiment.
The process will be documented on video. The artist’s website will function as a platform for mutual communication about the project.

300 Unieke kunstwerken, met elk een autonoom beeldverhaal.
Samengevoegd verbeelden ze de totaal vernietigde stad Homs en vormen de basis van een conceptueel kunstproject.
Het kunstwerk getiteld ‘Candy Colors over Destruction’ is een hommage aan de vele kinderen die zijn gestorven en gevlucht.
De 300 werken worden verspreid door uitgifte aan 300 kunstliefhebbers op verschillende plaatsen en tijden, als een artistieke benadering van het vluchtelingenpad, dat wordt bepaald door de grilligheid van het lot.
Leidt dit tot enig gevoel van collectiviteit en mede- verantwoordelijkheid, met een eigen dynamiek?
Wordt dit kunstwerk ooit weer herenigd?
Uitwisseling van e-mail adressen en een kort gesprek is een essentieel onderdeel van dit artistiek experiment.
Het proces zal worden gedocumenteerd op video. De website van de kunstenaar zal functioneren als platvorm voor de onderlinge communicatie over het project.

By purchasing a painting you agree to participate in this art project and the conditions.
You agree to share your email address with the other participants.
You send me a video selfie 10 minutes max or a short interview sharing your thoughts about your opinion of this art project and what sparked your imagination when choosing the painting you bought.
You agree that your selfie or interview will be used in in a video production and publications.
Criteria voor participatie.
Je praat graag over kunst.
Door koop van een schilderij ga je akkoord met het delen van je email adres met de andere deelnemers.
Je stuurt een video selfie van maximaal 10 minuten of staat open voor het geven van een kort interview over wat je vindt van dit kunst project en de aanleiding voor je keuze van het schilderij dat je hebt gekocht.
Je gaat ermee akkoord dat je selfie of interview wordt gebruikt in een video productie en publicaties.
