My work explores the tension between ancient and modern, using the unique textures and symbolism as foundation to evoke poetry of resilience and impermanence

Burlap, rough and weathered like tanned skin, whispers of endurance and history, its wrinkles and scars etched with stories of time. However transparent plastic sheets, smooth and artificial, overlay the coarse foundation, their translucence capturing fleeting light and shadow. Together, they create a dynamic interplay – tangible yet elusive, traditional yet contemporary.
