Since 2017, I explored the interaction between two opposing materials: transparent sheets what I consider the canvas of the contemporary, and the ancient, tactile presence of burlap.
In this ongoing dialogue, transparency and opacity, precision and rawness negotiate space and meaning, while opening a field for exploring different styles. The clarity of the synthetic meets the worn texture of the organic,
forming a layered visual language where past and present converge, reflecting continuity, material memory, and the fluid nature of expression.
